First of all, Sherry decided to relax after the move by watching TV. After a while though, she got bored with watching Professor Evil a thousandth time.
As she ate, Sherry heard something that sounded like footsteps. Because no-one knocked on the door, Sherry wondered if someone was playing a silly prank on her.
It turned out that it wasn't a prankster; just a newspaper delivery boy. Sherry looked for jobs and applied for work at a restaurant.
As Sherry folded the paper, she heard footsteps again - only this time someone did knock. It turned out that two neighbors - a man and a woman - had come over to meet Sherry.
Sherry: Hi!
Woman: Hmmm.. You should have said, 'Good afternoon'.
Sherry: Oh, right, sorry.. I'm Sherry Mayglen.
Woman: Yes, it's clear you are not from here.
After the false start with the lady - who hadn't even introduced herself but made herself at home by watching TV - Sherry at least managed to make some conversation with the man.
Sherry: So you see, cooking is very important to me. Now, I think we're missing something - what's your name?
Man: That's for me to know and you to find out.
Sherry: Okay...
After that, Sherry got the 'friendly neighbors' to leave and shut the door firmly behind them.
Having nothing else to do, Sherry sat down and checked the 'Weekly Events' page in the newspaper. It turned out that there was a Neighborhood Grill-a-Thon going on at the Cannery that very day!
Quickly finding the Cannery on the map, Sherry grabbed her scooter from the garage and zoomed off.
Sherry: This is the perfect way to boost up my cooking skill!
Unfortunately, there was a lot of people at the Grill-a-thon, and only one grill. Sherry decided that it's going to be a long wait until she can make her Tofu Dogs!
